SIPS are acknowledged in the UK as a green building method.

Timber

The timber used to make OSB is grown from trees in sustainable managed forests. It uses less energy than other building materials and it is a better insulator.

EPS

EPS which forms the inner core and the insulation for the system is both CFC and HCFC free and has an ozone depletion of zero.

Panels

The panels provide high thermal performance. The joints between SIPS panels are tight and offer a draught free house with minimal cold bridging; keeping properties warm in the summer.

Recycling

The OSB board and EPS core are both recyclable materials.
